Cancellation Policy

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy, Please read carefully

Our policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our business. All cancellation requests must be communicated to us in writing via email.

3.1 Standard Accommodation Bookings

  • Cancellation 7 days or more before check-in: The advance deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee; any balance paid will be refunded.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in: 100% of the total booking cost will be charged.

  • No-Show or Early Departure: Treated as a late cancellation, with 100% of the booking cost forfeited.

  • Peak Season/Holiday Periods: Stricter policies may apply. Bookings during designated peak seasons (e.g., summer holidays, Diwali) may require a higher non-refundable deposit or have a longer cancellation window (e.g., 14 days).

3.2 Wedding, Group, and Special Event Bookings
Due to the extensive planning involved, these bookings are subject to separate, stricter terms outlined in your event contract. Typically:

  • A significant non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date.

  • Cancellation timelines and penalties will be significantly longer and higher than standard bookings.

3.3 General Refund and Modification Terms

  • Modifications: Changes to dates are subject to availability and rate differences. A modification is not a cancellation; standard cancellation penalties apply if a new booking cannot be accommodated.

  • Refund Method: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

  • Force Majeure: For cancellations due to truly extraordinary circumstances beyond anyone’s control (e.g., government-mandated travel bans, natural disasters blocking access), we will offer a credit for a future stay or a refund, subject to verification.

Important Note: It has come to our notice that someone has created a scamming website called https://shivalikvalleyresort.com , we would like to inform our visitors to avoid making any booking on this website. They are scammers are any booking advance paid to them will not count or be entertained at our property.

If you provide more specific details—such as your exact deposit percentage, peak season dates, or a draft wedding contract—I can help tailor these policies further.
